Windy August causes damage to some plants, whilst others have thrived. The studio shed is slowly progressing.

Despite the summer weather being a little cool this year July was much warmer than June and my summer flowers are now blooming well.

The tropical bed has been slow due to the cold, but other plants are loving the cool wet weather. I also have a new Venus Flytrap.

May was the hottest on record causing my plants to grow really fast, however June has started cold with hail and temperatures of 4.5C(40F

With winter temperatures one week and then summer heatwave conditions the week after, the garden is exploding into growth.

In this update I give an update on the recent progress of my studio shed build as well as give details about my new camera equipment.

February was a little warmer than usual and much wetter, the extra warmth has started the spring flowers off a little earlier this year.&

January had above average snowfall, but as the month came to a close, an unusual warm spell has brought out some spring flowers.

Its fairly quiet in the garden and also in the house as all the plants are currently dormant. Although I'm already planning next season.

November was fairly average with damaging frosts killing back most of my tropical plants and the first snow fall of winter.
