HoloCenter, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in 1998 by Ana Maria Nicholson and Dan Schweitzer, offers a unique artist-in-residence program focused on holographic art. Their mission is to democratize access to cutting-edge holographic facilities, fostering creativity and innovation within the video art community. Since launching their Patreon in June 2023, HoloCenter has already garnered 55 members, with 42 actively contributing, generating approximately $748 in support. This demonstrates a growing community committed to their impactful work. Unlike typical video content creators, HoloCenter focuses on providing tangible resources and opportunities to artists, directly contributing to the advancement of holographic art.
