OpenHD

OpenHD is an open-source initiative dedicated to creating a cutting-edge, low-latency, high-definition digital FPV (First-Person View) video system for remote-controlled vehicles. Primarily built upon the Raspberry Pi platform, the project focuses on providing high-quality video transmission for a more immersive and responsive RC experience. Since its launch on May 7th, 2021, OpenHD has garnered a significant community, boasting 228 total members and 29 dedicated paid patrons who support the continued development. The project's success is evidenced by its estimated monthly earnings ranging from $48 to $736, showcasing the community's commitment to the project's goals. OpenHD stands out in the FPV community through its commitment to open-source principles, fostering collaboration and transparency.
