POTREON is a unique pottery studio, the first and only in the US to be owned, operated, and focused on people of color (POC). Founded in September 2020, their Patreon page supports their vital mission: providing free pottery classes for young people in Los Angeles. With a growing community of 142 members (9 paid patrons), POTREON has already achieved a significant milestone, generating between $50 and $400 in monthly revenue. Their impact extends beyond financial support; they foster a sense of community and create valuable career pathways for POC within the often exclusive world of ceramics. POTREON’s commitment to inclusivity and its innovative approach to pottery education make it a truly remarkable initiative.
