Payday Report
@PaydayReportPayday Report, launched in April 2016, is a video journalism project focused on labor issues, particularly in the Southern United States. Currently boasting 85 members, with 55 paid subscribers generating an estimated $431 monthly revenue (ranging from $168 to $5600), Payday Report has built a dedicated community around its work. Their flagship project, the #BossTalk podcast, co-hosted by University of Wyoming Labor Law Professor Mike Duff and Payday Senior Labor Reporter Mike Elk, distinguishes itself with a conversational, accessible approach to complex labor law topics, inspired by the popular 'Car Talk' format. This unique blend of expert analysis and engaging presentation has allowed Payday Report to carve a niche in labor journalism, providing valuable resources and insights to its audience. While their financial success is variable, their consistent output and dedicated community demonstrate a commitment to impactful reporting.
