Trans Women of Color Solidarity Network

The Trans Women of Color Solidarity Network (TWOCSN) is a vital community-led initiative established in June 2019, focusing on the financial empowerment and liberation of Two-Spirit, Trans Women, and Femmes of Color. This network tackles systemic economic disparities and violence impacting this community by providing direct financial support and fostering opportunities for collective care. Currently boasting over 200 members and generating an estimated annual revenue between $825 and $4,125, TWOCSN’s impact extends beyond monetary aid. Its unique approach prioritizes self-determination and centers the voices and needs of the community it serves. This sets it apart from other financial initiatives by focusing specifically on the interconnected issues of economic justice and community building within the TWOC community. The network's success, demonstrated by its growing membership and consistent fundraising, showcases the profound need and impact of its work.
