@acfotocty國際記者陳子煜 (Alex Chan Tsz Yuk) is a freelance journalist based in Hong Kong who uses photography to document global events. He has a strong commitment to his home city and a passion for telling stories from around the world. Since 2019, he has worked as a photojournalist for various media outlets, including Asahi Television, SOPA Images, HK.Feature, and Gashan Media. In 2020, he was a special correspondent for Apple Daily, covering the protests in Belarus. He also traveled to Ukraine during the Russo-Ukrainian War, becoming the first journalist from Hong Kong to arrive on the frontlines within a week of the conflict's start. He continued his reporting for nearly six months and returned to Ukraine in June 2023 to continue documenting the stories of the Ukrainian people. Alex aims to inspire his Hong Kong audience by sharing stories from different corners of the world. His work has been recognized with awards, including the 2023 Taiwan News Photography Contest.
