CIBO (Italian for 'food'), launched in December 2018, is a pioneering street art project dedicated to countering hate and vandalism. Since its inception around 2008, CIBO has used the power of art, specifically delicious-looking food-themed drawings, to replace negativity with beauty in urban environments. The project aims to educate cities and citizens through its visually engaging approach, transforming walls marred by hate speech into cheerful, appetizing canvases. With over 250 community members on Patreon, including nearly 150 paid patrons, CIBO demonstrates a significant impact, achieving an estimated yearly income of $1056, a testament to their successful fundraising and growing community engagement. Unlike many street artists, CIBO's unique approach focuses specifically on replacing negativity with a positive, accessible, and universally appealing theme: food. This approach is crucial in bridging cultural divides and fostering a sense of community.
