Dara Farm Sanctuary, established on July 1, 2018, began as a haven for two rescued pot-bellied pigs, Kevin and Rosie. Facing the challenge of limited sanctuary spaces, the founders decided to become their permanent caregivers, sparking the creation of Dara Farm Sanctuary. Since its official Patreon launch on December 5th, 2018, the sanctuary has grown significantly. Currently boasting 68 members, with 54 dedicated paid patrons, Dara Farm Sanctuary has achieved notable financial success, exceeding $1000 in estimated monthly earnings. This demonstrates the strong community support built around the sanctuary's compassionate mission. While many sanctuaries exist, Dara Farm's focus on providing direct, personalized care within a smaller, intimate setting may distinguish it from larger organizations, allowing for closer bonds with the rescued animals.
