Dirt & Free Herbal Arts, founded by Peregrine (they/them/siya/she/her), is a unique writing-based Patreon community dedicated to exploring bioregional and ancestral herbal medicine. Peregrine, a Chicago-born Pinay artist and clinical herbalist currently residing in Durham, combines their artistic talents with their clinical expertise to create engaging content focused on food sovereignty. Since launching in July 2021, this practice space has attracted 66 members, with 34 actively supporting the project through paid memberships, generating an estimated $161 in revenue. Peregrine's approach blends traditional herbal knowledge with a contemporary perspective, making their work particularly valuable for those seeking a culturally sensitive and environmentally conscious approach to herbalism. The community fosters a space for learning and sharing, reflecting a commitment to creating positive impact through accessible and engaging content.
