Eden Sanctuary

Eden Sanctuary, a small multi-species animal sanctuary nestled in Mallorca, Spain, has been a refuge for over 50 abandoned and abused animals since its founding in August 2018. Currently supported by a community of 75 Patreon members, 62 of whom contribute financially, Eden Sanctuary strives to provide exceptional care and rehabilitation for its residents. Despite achieving impressive milestones, including a dedicated following and consistent monthly support (currently averaging €442), the sanctuary faces significant financial challenges. Their unique approach focuses on holistic care tailored to each animal's individual needs, going beyond basic shelter to encompass specialized medical attention, enrichment activities, and a nurturing environment. The sanctuary's ongoing work highlights the crucial role of community support in ensuring the well-being of vulnerable animals, showcasing the impact even a small sanctuary can have on animal welfare in Mallorca. The long-term goal is to secure sustainable funding to maintain the sanctuary and continue their life-saving work.
