Growing Outside the Binary, a collaborative project launched in September 2019 by Skye (@growingwithmxt) and Ace (@teachingoutsidethebinary), provides valuable resources and activities promoting LGBTQ+ inclusivity in education. This Patreon community, boasting over 141 members (83 paid), focuses on equipping educators with the tools to create safer and more affirming learning environments for all students. Their work has generated an estimated $539 in revenue, demonstrating the growing demand for their expertise. Unlike many educational resources, Growing Outside the Binary uniquely combines the perspectives and experiences of two passionate educators, resulting in a rich and nuanced approach to LGBTQ+ inclusive pedagogy. They offer a supportive community for educators seeking to improve equity and foster understanding within their classrooms, making a significant contribution to the field of inclusive education.
