Konstantin, a passionate developer, created INAV, an open-source drone autopilot software, in 2015. What began as a personal project quickly evolved into a valuable resource for the R/C community. Launched on Patreon in November 2016, INAV has garnered a dedicated following of 55 members, 9 of whom are paid supporters. Reaching over 30,000 users in 2017, INAV showcases Konstantin's commitment to providing an accessible and reliable entry-level autopilot. While the project's financial support remains modest, ranging from $10 to $500 in monthly earnings, its significant user base underlines its impact on the drone community. Konstantin's unique contribution lies in making advanced drone technology more approachable for enthusiasts, fostering a thriving community around open-source development and innovation.
