Invisible Ground

Invisible Ground is a podcast launched in August 2021, dedicated to chronicling the stories of Southeast Ohio. Through in-depth documentaries and immersive historical explorations, the project delves into the region's unique past, connecting local events and people to larger historical and societal trends. With a focus on community engagement, Invisible Ground has cultivated a loyal following, reaching 71 members, including 62 paid subscribers. While still in its early stages of growth, the podcast has achieved notable financial milestones, exceeding initial revenue projections. Unlike many history podcasts focused on national narratives, Invisible Ground offers a hyperlocal perspective, bringing to light often-overlooked stories and enriching the understanding of this specific region. The podcast's unique strength lies in its dedication to uncovering the human element of history within a specific geographical context, providing a powerful lens through which to examine broader societal themes.
