Hey! So you gave 5 dollars! I am honored. It may not seem like a lot to some people, but it is to you, and it is to me. Sometimes that five dollars keeps checks from bouncing. Sometimes it means a bar of cheese, or creamer for that pot of tea. Five dollars pays almost a quarter of my heating bill. Five dollars is a quarter of an ink cartridge for my printer, and I'll be using a lot of ink in the next couple months to print out stories that I will shuffle across my floor like the biggest deck of tarot cards in town. 5 dollars a month totals 60 dollars for the year. I am bouncing on the ceiling like a basketball in that ridiculous episode of Scooby Doo where the Harlem Globetrotters can defy gravity, and then they go on to solve the quantum riddle of Everything.

In return for this level of benevolence I will keep writing....in my sleep, with my marrow, with my love.
