Kineko Video

Kineko Video is a dedicated film preservation project launched in December 2021, focusing on rescuing and restoring important films from the past, with a particular emphasis on animation. Their work involves painstakingly obtaining, scanning, and digitally restoring these often-fragile films, ensuring their survival for future generations. This meticulous process yields high-quality video scans, making these historically significant works accessible to a wider audience. Currently boasting over 200 members, including 90 paid patrons, Kineko Video has already achieved significant milestones, demonstrating a strong community and a dedicated following. Their unique approach blends archival work with a passion for sharing these restored films, differentiating them in the crowded world of online video content. The project's modest but growing financial success, estimated between $89 and $1335 in monthly earnings, reflects the value placed on their crucial preservation efforts.
