Founded in October 2018 and launching its Patreon in January 2019, Nima Sanctuary stands as Romania's pioneering farm animal sanctuary. Located on a sprawling 52,000 sqm haven nestled in the foothills of the Fagaras Mountains, the sanctuary currently cares for a diverse family of rescued animals including 23 cows, 3 horses, a donkey, 2 lambs, and 2 pigs. These animals, rescued from difficult circumstances, now enjoy a life of peace and freedom. Nima Sanctuary's impact extends beyond the animals themselves; the sanctuary boasts a growing community of 166 members, with 115 actively supporting their mission through Patreon, contributing to an estimated monthly income of $118 - $590. This support is crucial for the ongoing care, feeding, and veterinary needs of these animals, demonstrating the power of collective action in animal welfare.
