The Orca Behavior Institute

The Orca Behavior Institute (OBI), a small non-profit based in Washington state's San Juan Islands, is dedicated to the conservation of wild orcas. Founded in 2015, OBI utilizes a unique approach combining non-invasive research methods with bold advocacy and accessible science-based education. Their work contributes significantly to our understanding of these magnificent creatures and their fragile ecosystem. Since launching their Patreon in December 2020, OBI has built a community of 111 members, with 87 actively supporting their efforts through monthly contributions, generating an estimated $535 in monthly earnings. This demonstrates a growing commitment to OBI's mission.
