Paws of Nusa Penida

Paws of Nusa Penida is a grassroots animal welfare organization based on the idyllic yet challenging island of Nusa Penida, Indonesia. Since their launch in January 2021, they've built a dedicated community of 77 members (56 paid), generating an estimated $275-$4950 monthly to support their critical work. Facing a significant population of stray dogs and cats (estimated at over 3000 animals in need), Paws of Nusa Penida focuses on a two-pronged approach: a sterilization program to control the population and a sanctuary providing care for rescued animals. Their unique challenge and commitment lie in the remote location and substantial need. Their impact is tangible, demonstrated by their growing membership and consistent funding which helps them continue their essential work for the animals of Nusa Penida.
