Rhomaios is a unique living history organization dedicated to the immersive recreation of Roman culture spanning over 14 centuries, from the tumultuous era of the Great Jewish Revolt to the later Byzantine period. Founded in October 2020, Rhomaios has steadily built a community of 58 members, with 11 dedicated paid patrons supporting their efforts. While their estimated monthly earnings range from $33 to $5280, the current figure of $84 demonstrates the ongoing growth of this impactful project. Unlike many living history groups focused on a single period, Rhomaios' exceptionally broad chronological scope provides a rare and comprehensive exploration of Roman civilization's evolution. Through their work, they strive to educate and engage audiences with the intricacies of Roman daily life, warfare, and societal structures across this vast timeframe. The organization’s dedication fosters a community of passionate history enthusiasts who value authentic historical research and immersive experiences.
