We Have Always Existed

We Have Always Existed is a video creator dedicated to uncovering and sharing the often-overlooked history of transgender people throughout history. Launched in November 2021, this project directly addresses the pervasive misinformation surrounding transgender identities by presenting factual accounts and challenging dominant narratives. Currently boasting 69 members, with 38 paid patrons contributing to an estimated monthly income between $38 and $266, the creator fosters a supportive online community for transgender individuals and allies. The unique value of this project lies in its dedicated focus on a historically marginalized aspect of LGBTQ+ history, providing accurate representations and countering harmful stereotypes. The project's success, as evidenced by its growing membership and consistent income, highlights the demand and importance of this vital historical work.
