The Grind Magazine Toronto

The Grind Magazine Toronto is an independent, alternative publication covering the political and cultural landscape of the city. Launched in December 2022, The Grind provides free access to its content both online and in print, with copies readily available in TTC subway stations and over 100 other locations throughout the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). Their dedication to accessible, impactful journalism is reflected in their growing community; currently boasting 68 members, including 56 paid patrons who support their work through monthly contributions. This community support has enabled The Grind to achieve significant financial milestones, with estimated earnings exceeding $492 since launch. What sets The Grind apart is its commitment to providing a free, readily available alternative news source that reaches a broad audience, while simultaneously fostering a dedicated community of supporters invested in independent journalism.
