Black Queer & Intersectional Collective

The Black Queer & Intersectional Collective (BQIC) is a grassroots community organization founded in October 2018, dedicated to fostering safe, healthy, and thriving lives for Black queer, trans, and intersex individuals. BQIC relies on community support to fuel its impactful work. With over 160 members and a dedicated base of 120 paid patrons, the collective has achieved significant milestones, demonstrating the growing need for and impact of their efforts. BQIC distinguishes itself through its hyper-focused, intersectional approach, addressing the unique challenges faced by this often-marginalized community. Their work includes community building, advocacy, and direct support initiatives, making them a vital resource within their niche.
