Show more Back in the pre-pandemic winters, I would take eight hour round trips from my home to the Minneapolis studios via the local transit system, where I would self-train in movement arts most days of the week. I was struggling financially then. I remember thinking to myself how awesome it would have been to not have to pay the $2 or $3 to take the bus one way, and to one day have those costs covered through the very art I was aspiring to make. I'm not sure if I'm quite there yet, but I think it would feel nice to travel without worry around the Twin Cities. Note: There is no difference in content being shared between any of these tiers. A Nice Hot Meal $10/mo

I live next to the only restaurant I can safely enjoy in the Twin Cities, and will often find myself gravitating towards them after a long day of labor, a meeting with friends, or during the low points of a flare up. I think there is a difference between survival food and food as nourishment. This would allow me to enjoy a meal that was designed to bring happiness through community care. Show more Outside of Patreon, I am teaching one-on-one embodied movement lessons, in-person and virtual, primarily to students of multiple marginalities who would not otherwise find comfort in a traditional group learning environment. In this space, build safety and integrate concepts across multiple movement modalities to create pleasurable physical art. The sustainable price for my labor is $45 per two hour lesson, and both the students and I are interested in having the opportunity to create a community-run sliding scale plan. This tier would cover the cost of one student's lesson per month. The students have requested that they would rather start this out by funding multiple individuals to increase overall accessibility to a larger group first, rather than cover 100% of one student's cost of attendance. I'm happy to throw in an art print of your choice for joining this tier. I welcome any and all suggestions to help make this a sustainable program in the long run. All I ask is that the students' identities remain anonymous and that advance notification is given prior to withdrawing from this pledged tier.
