Sanctuary Supply Depot

Sanctuary Supply Depot (SSD) is a Minneapolis-based initiative dedicated to supporting the unhoused community. Founded in June 2021, SSD acts as a central hub, connecting donors with those in need by efficiently collecting and distributing essential survival supplies. With over 200 patrons and a community of nearly 250 members, SSD has successfully channeled over $2900 in donations to directly assist vulnerable individuals. Unlike other generalized donation platforms, SSD focuses solely on providing tangible aid, ensuring that contributed resources are immediately put to use providing necessities such as food, clothing, and hygiene items to those experiencing homelessness in the Minneapolis area. This hyper-local focus and transparent distribution system distinguishes SSD as a unique and effective force for positive change within its community.
