TEMPLVM
@templvmTEMPLVM, a photography project launched in April 2019, originated within a community focused on recreating aspects of ancient Rome. The project's unique focus is on the visual documentation of self-created religious services, offering a fascinating blend of historical context and contemporary artistic expression. Initially sparking from discussions surrounding 'ager publicus' (public land) within the larger group, TEMPLVM has cultivated a following of 90 members, 55 of whom are paid patrons. This dedicated community supports TEMPLVM's ongoing work, which has generated an estimated income between $156 and $2600. The project distinguishes itself through its unique perspective on religious practice, using photography to capture a blend of historical inspiration and modern creativity. The substantial member base reflects the project's ability to engage an audience interested in both visual arts and unconventional religious expression.
